What GIPS is, and what it isn't
GIPS, the Global Investment Performance Standards, is the CFA Institute's worldwide standard for how investment performance is calculated and presented. Firms, not strategies, claim GIPS compliance. Strike's record was examined by a firm that does GIPS verifications; we never describe Strike as "GIPS-certified."
