If you’re comparing automated trading platforms, it’s easy to get pulled in by the biggest number on the page. That’s the wrong place to start.
Here are eight things I’d check before connecting a single dollar. Write them down. Use them on every platform you look at, including ours.
Where the money is, and what it does
Number one: custody. Where does your money actually sit? You want it in your own account, in your name, at a large regulated broker. Not in the platform’s account.
Number two: verification. Can you see every trade they’ve ever made, winners and losers? Not a chart. Not a screenshot. The actual trades.
Number three: what does it trade? Stocks, options, crypto, forex, futures? Each one carries very different risk. Make sure you know exactly what you’re signing up for.
Number four: leverage. Does it borrow money to trade? Leverage makes good months look amazing and bad months wipe people out. Ask directly: can I lose more than I put in?

Number five: fees. Get every fee in writing. Setup fees, monthly fees, performance fees, broker commissions. And remember that a lot of published results are shown before fees, so ask what they look like after.
Number six: how long is the record? Six months of results in a rising market tells you almost nothing. You want years, and you want to see how it did in a bad stretch.
Number seven: can they explain the rules simply? If someone can’t tell you in a couple of sentences what the system buys and why, that’s a problem.
Number eight: who’s behind it? Real names, a real company, people you can actually get on a call. If it’s anonymous, move on.
Strike on the same eight checks
Here’s how Strike scores on the same eight.
Custody: your own Interactive Brokers account. Verification: 2,239 trades, every one listed. What it trades: U.S. stocks, long-only. Leverage: none.
Fees: we walk you through every one, in writing, on the call. Record length: about six and a half years, and our worst month is right there on the site. Rules: rank about 450 stocks, hold the strongest 20, rotate monthly. And who’s behind it: Capital B28, with a named team you can talk to.
I’m not saying that makes it right for you. I’m saying that’s the bar, and you should hold everyone to it.
Bring the checklist to the call.
So, eight checks. Custody, verification, what it trades, leverage, fees, record length, readable rules, and who’s behind it.
If you want to run us through all eight, go to strikealgo.net and book a call. Bring the list. Ask the hard questions. That’s what the call is for.
Why this matters if you’re considering Strike
Most platforms fail at least two of these. We welcome all eight. Book a call, go down the list with us, and make your decision with full information.
