“Trading algorithm” sounds complicated. It isn’t. An algorithm is just a set of rules that a computer follows the same way every single time, with no emotion and no second-guessing.
In this video I’ll show you exactly how one picks stocks, using our own system, Strike, as the example.
Measure, rank, hold, rotate
Here’s the whole thing, in four steps.
Step one, measure. Every trading day, the system scores about 450 of the most liquid stocks in the U.S. on momentum, which is basically how strongly each one has been rising.
Step two, rank. It lines them all up on one scale, from strongest to weakest.
Step three, hold. It owns the top 20, in roughly equal amounts. No leverage, no shorting, no options.
Step four, rotate. Once a month, on a fixed schedule, it sells the names that fell out of the top and buys the ones that moved in.
That’s a complete trading algorithm. Nobody decides “I like this stock” or “the news looks scary.” The rules decide, the same way, every time. That’s the entire advantage: it takes the emotion out of the decision.
Want to see today’s ranking and the current top 20?Book a call →Hear it from people who use Strike It ranks every day. It trades once a month.
People always ask me: if it ranks stocks every day, why does it only trade once a month?
Because momentum is about stocks that keep leading for months, not days. A stock that’s hot for a week is mostly noise. And the ranking moves slowly. Three weeks after any given day, about 83 percent of the list is still the same.
So if a stock slips for a few days, that’s not a sell signal. Trading monthly keeps you in the real leaders, keeps your trading costs down, and it’s the rule that produced the verified record. If you traded every wiggle, you’d be running a different strategy, and probably a worse one.
Watch the algorithm run on your account.
So that’s a trading algorithm: measure, rank, hold, rotate. Rules instead of gut feelings.
If you want to see Strike run on your own numbers, go to strikealgo.net and book a call. We’ll walk you through the platform and the full verified record, live.
Why this matters if you’re considering Strike
Rules beat gut feelings because they don’t panic and they don’t get greedy. On a call we’ll pull up the live ranking, show you today’s top 20, and walk you through how the next rotation is shaping up.
