Most trading companies will never make this video. They’ll show you the best month, the best trade, the best year.
I’m going to show you our worst month. July 2026. What happened, what the rules did about it, and what came after. Because if you’re going to trust a system with your money, you need to see it at its worst first.
The damage
Here it is. In July 2026, the Strike model lost 22.1 percent in one month.
And on the record overall, our deepest drawdown, the biggest drop from a high to a low, is 37 percent. For comparison, the S&P 500’s deepest drop over the same period was 25.4 percent. So yes, we’ve fallen harder than the market at our worst.
What happened in July? Leadership in the market flipped fast. The stocks that had been leading suddenly sold off hard, all at once. That’s the one environment momentum hates the most, because by definition you’re holding the leaders when they turn.
It wasn’t a bug. It wasn’t a broken rule. It’s the known cost of the strategy, and it showed up all at once.

So what happened next?
The rules didn’t panic. At the next rotation, they sold what had fallen out of the top and bought the new leaders, exactly like every other month.
August was up 3.5 percent. September was up 13.1. October was up 3.7. That’s about 21 percent over the three months after the worst month on our record.
And for 2026 as a whole, including that July, the model was up 42.6 percent year to date through October 9th.
Now, I want to be careful here. That doesn’t mean every bad month bounces back like that. It won’t. Past results don’t guarantee anything. But it shows you what the plan is: keep following the rules through the bad stretch.
See the worst first. Then decide.
So that’s our worst month. Down 22.1 percent in July 2026, a 37 percent deepest drawdown overall, and about 21 percent in the three months after.
Here’s my honest advice. If a month like July would make you pull out at the bottom, this probably isn’t for you, and that’s okay. If you can sit through it, let’s talk.
